Here is the finished product. I used oil based stain and finished with two coats of polyurethane.
Hand-painted world map on birch plywood.

- Print a world map outline

- Cut wood pieces to size. I used three 1′ x 2′ pieces.

- Sand with 220 grit sandpaper.

- Line map up on the three pieces and trace the outline with tracing paper.

- The line is very faint, but very easy to see when you are staining the wood.

- Attach wall hangers.
